Individual employee ID cards combine access control, time recording, and canteen payments on a single card. Therefore, we produce employee ID cards and service cards that integrate seamlessly into your existing systems, with photo customisation, RFID encoding, and in any print run from 100 pieces.

The classic laminated ID card is a thing of the past for many companies. Because modern employee ID cards ISO credit card size (85.6 × 54 mm) are made from robust PVC, meaning they can withstand years of daily use, whether kept in a pocket, on a lanyard or in a cardholder. Furthermore, the surface is water and abrasion resistant, ensuring the colours remain vibrant even after hundreds of reads at a terminal.

Crucially, however, is the functionality beneath the surface: an embedded RFID chip makes the card a key for doors, a time clock replacement, and a payment medium in the company canteen all at once. Instead of issuing three separate items, companies thus bundle all functions onto a single card. This saves costs and also significantly reduces administrative effort.
For companies with special sustainability requirements, we also produce employee badges from PET recycling, wood or grass cardboard. All EcoLine materials can be fully combined with RFID chips and personalisation.
The modern employee ID card is far more than just an identity badge. As a multifunctional chip card, it combines identification, authorisation, and payment on a single medium. Depending on requirements, the following functions can be integrated individually or in combination on the card. The advantage: employees carry only one card, the IT department manages only one system, and the company consequently saves on expenses for separate media.
The choice of the right chip depends primarily on your existing access control system. Many companies, for example, rely on Mifare Classic as a proven standard for Access control and time tracking. For sensitive areas, on the other hand, where the highest level of security is required, we recommend Mifare DESFire EV3 with AES-128 encryption. Furthermore, if a system change is imminent, we supply combination cards with two technologies on one card, allowing the old and new systems to be operated in parallel.
We encode the chips directly in our production facility in Hessisch Lichtenau and, before production begins, coordinate the frequency, data structure, and memory allocation with your system provider. This ensures the cards are ready for immediate use upon arrival.
Unlike Customer cards or Vouchers Are employee ID cards individually personalised? Each one carries a different photo, a different name and a different personnel number. That's why we personalise the cards directly in our production in Hessisch Lichtenau using inkjet printing in photo quality or, alternatively, laser engraving for particularly durable labelling.

You simply provide the personalisation data as an Excel spreadsheet or CSV file, and we print and encode each card individually. Furthermore, repeat orders for new employees are possible at any time, in the identical design and with the same RFID encoding as the initial order. This ensures your card system remains consistent even with a growing workforce.
We already produce employee ID cards from 100 units. Individual reorders for new employees are therefore always possible, with the same design and the same coding as the initial order.
We encode employee ID cards for common access control systems such as SALTO, Gantner, SimonsVoss, HID, and LEGIC. Before production begins, we coordinate the chip, frequency, and data structure directly with your system provider, ensuring the cards are immediately ready for use. You can find further information on our Technology page.
Yes, we individually personalise each card with employee photos in photo quality using inkjet printing. This is supplemented by variable text data such as name, department, employee number and expiry date. You simply provide the print data as an Excel spreadsheet or CSV file.
Yes, with chips like the Mifare DESFire EV3, it's possible to combine access control, time tracking, and cashless payments in the canteen on a single card, for example. Each application is stored in a separate app partition on the chip.
Modern RFID chips like the Mifare DESFire EV3 offer AES-128 encryption and are certified to CC EAL5+. Consequently, the data on the chip is protected against unauthorised reading and copying. For additional protection, we also offer RFID protective sleeves.
Standard items are usually ready for dispatch within 5 to 7 working days after print approval. Personalised employee ID cards with RFID encoding and photo printing require 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the quantity. Express production is also available on request.
